ABOUT ME
I graduated from Lake Superior State University from the Honors Program with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. I then worked for five years for the United States Department of Homeland Security in a variety of roles; including manning a 24 hour emergency operations call center, and also working in Human Resources.
I then became a Criminal Investigator in the Public Defender System in Alaska. This experience afforded me opportunities unlike any other, and I flew in float planes, rode ferry boats, and walked around small villages in Southeast Alaska conducting investigations on behalf of indigent defendants.
A relocation to be closer to family transported me to the Public Defender system in Wisconsin. Here, I worked for five years on some of the most notorious and newsworthy criminal cases in Northwest Wisconsin. The COVID pandemic led people across the country to re-evaluate their career paths, and I amongst them decided to pursue a Michigan Private Investigator license, and I founded my business MaynneConsulting, which is located in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
I have had a career unlike any other. I've seen things nobody else has seen and had experiences that could never be duplicated. Through the lens of this remarkable career, I have learned that an investigator must be unceasingly inquisitive, annoyingly persistent, incredibly judicious, and exercise exemplary attention to detail.
In my free time I enjoy volunteering at my church, outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, or fishing, home renovations, gardening, and playing cards with my family.
